New Schools and Workshops Gallery

Welcome to my Schools and Workshops Gallery! Here you can enjoy viewing art work created by budding artists during my sessions with Primary and Secondary Schools and with Nursery Schools. Many pieces are now permanent fixtures celebrating the creative talents of the children and students that I have worked with.

I have also included vibrant examples of work created during my Children’s Holiday Workshops.

Remember – ‘A little inspiration goes a long way!’

Broomleys Primary School Alien Invasion – Together we created a playground mural and matching canvases for the school.

Thringstone Primary School – Together we created stunning Woodland Mural panels for the school’s Reception Area.

Warren Hills Primary School – Together we created a breathtaking display of 56 canvases for the school’s Reception area.

Oakham Independent School – Year Nine pupils made paper cut stencils and learnt how to screen print with stunning results!

Ashby Arts Festival – Children aged 5 – 11 years screen printed and painted vibrant canvases expressing the essence of Rock Music’

Thringstone Primary School – Year 5 and Year 6 pupils created canvases celebrating the history of Thringstone Village and captured the beauty of the local Blue bell Woods using acrylic paint techniques. The canvases are now on permanent display in the school hall.

Ashby Hill Top Primary School – Wanted to brighten up their playground and so the children and I created two wild flower garden murals for the playground wall.

Cosby Primary School invited me in to talk to the children about working as an Artist as part of their aspirational project, ‘Reach For The Stars’. I set the children a design challenge!  Each child produced a cushion design that captured their project theme whilst I visited classrooms and ran mini workshops! The designs were so amazing, I re-visited the school to award prizes!

Menphy’s Nursery is such a wonderful place! The children and staff wanted to all contribute towards making two large Textile Art panels to mark the retirement of a very special Head Teacher. The panels are now proudly displayed in the nursery reception area and the Head Teacher has her very own framed prints of the pieces!

Spring Workshops – children aged 5 – 11 years learn how to observe the delicate details of spring florals. They work in acrylic paint and create vibrant, colourful backgrounds that compliment their chosen flowers.
